These beautiful scarves are hand made in Ethiopia by our friends at Sabahar in Addis Ababa, one of the premier weaving workshops in the area. Sabahar is a member of the World Fair Trade Organisation.
Sabahar has many talented weavers, finishers and dyers, who transform the yarn into gorgeous, wearable works of art.
The pure linen Mariam scarf is richly textured, finished with an eyelash fringe with a beautiful drape. The linen thread is imported from Belgium and meticulously woven by Sabahar weavers.
The lovely scarves should last a lifetime and just get better and better with age!
